Presents results of the eLib project FIDDO that examined in-depth access as it relates to academic libraries. Describes and evaluates various options and scenarios in information and document access, and discusses the situation from both the manager's and the user's perspectives. Project findings are summarized and related to academic, workplace, and public library management, and to the research and development agenda.
