The Second Coming: Judgement Day

Ocena: 6 (1 głosów)

When a mysterious woman on horseback arrives at the gates of Downing Street demanding an audience, Prime Minister James Cleveland is alarmed. Despite his orders for her arrest, she reaches him—and delivers an astonishing claim: she is the Second Coming of Jesus, and she has come to judge.

At first, few believe her. But when a series of impossible coincidences begin to unfold, scepticism starts to crack. As the scion of God, Jess wields a divine coercive power, eliminating corrupt politicians and forcing world leaders to act on global crises. Yet, just as she begins to reshape the world, her power vanishes—and with it, her protection.

Now arrested and detained by the security services, Jess faces a fate as grim as the first Messiah's. But this time, will the Second Coming end differently?

The Second Coming: Judgement Day - opinie o książce

" [...] I'm here to sort out mankind. I can do it by force, and I will if I have to. [...]"

"The Second Coming: Judgement Day" by Paul Georgiou is a short novel, but very rich in content. The author compels the reader to deep reflection. What if Jesus came to Earth again today, in the form of a Black woman? Would we believe her? Would we treat her the same way people did two thousand years ago? With a heavy heart, I believe that humanity would react similarly. They wouldn't.

In the novel "The Second Coming: Judgement Day" by Paul Georgiou, we meet, among others:

- British Prime Minister James Cleveland, who will be in real trouble. He will have to convene all the members of the G20 to discuss an important matter concerning the future of the world.

- A Black woman with green eyes, likely from Somalia, with superpowers. She came to Earth from God himself. She is one of the Holy Trinity. To humanity, her name is Jess. She has returned to Earth to give humanity a chance to survive. Will world leaders accept her orders? Will God once again unleash a cataclysm upon the world? Or will he allow his child to be crucified a second time? You will find the answers to these questions in this story.

This book captivated me. The topic seems contemporary, as humanity is unfortunately heading towards self-destruction. Just look at how many wars are raging around the world. Global warming and, unfortunately, environmental neglect are contributing factors. Constant protests and dissatisfied societies are contributing theirs.

After this story, I wonder how much time remains until total catastrophe? How much longer will God endure the insults directed at Him?

"Whatever you did to one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did to me" (Matthew 25:40).

I encourage you to read "The Second Coming: Judgement Day" by Paul Georgiou and reflect deeply on your own life.
