This was my second encounter with the characters from the "Voodoo" series. It was exciting, dark, dangerous, and at times bloody. Blood flowed freely. There were fights for survival and mental battles. J.L. Hancock meticulously crafted his book, "The Spear and the Sentinel." You don't read this book, you literally devour it.
You'll meet, among others:
Kobra - a woman with a mission. She was a prisoner of a poultry trader. Until... She's worth a closer look.
Voodoo - a technology expert. He spent twenty years in Naval Special Warfare. He led a team of hackers, among other roles. He's ready to help anyone in need. Will he be able to outsmart his enemies this time?
Lieutenant Eric "Frisco" Francisco. In my opinion, she deserves respect.
Liu Ying - known as the Matriarch - is the Leader of the All-China Federation of Returning Overseas Chinese.
Of course, there are more heroes and villains, but you'll discover that for yourself as you read.
A gripping plot, gripping action, and diverse characters make this thriller a must-read. All AI fans should not miss this title.
