This time Phill Featherstone created a story that shook me up a lot. Why? Of course, you will find out when you read "Butterflies".
I am pleased with the beginning and the middle of this story. The end of the book somehow did not appeal to me very much. It is too confusing.
I met an exceptional girl here, Lucia Porter. She did not have a happy childhood. Later, she fell from the rain into the gutter. I hoped that fate would finally smile on her. What did Phill Featherstone come up with for her? Of course, I will not tell you that.
In this book, the author touches on various topics concerning psychological and physical violence and the loss of a child.
Harry Cavanagh's behaviour shook me up a lot. After marrying the main character, he changed dramatically. I didn't think it could happen so quickly. Unfortunately, monsters like this live next to us and poison the lives of many women. The author presented him very well. Will Harry get his act together before it's too late?
The end of the book is a mix of paranormal and fantasy for me. It's worth knowing it to be able to judge for yourself.
After reading "Butterflies", one thought comes to mind: let's not be afraid to ask for help in times of great crisis. We will also learn to accept such help and not reject it.
While reading this book, you will learn why there are exactly five butterflies on the cover.
I will gladly reach for another book by Phil Featherstone.
