Experimental Methodology

This text presents a reader-friendly introduction to the basic principles of experimental psychological research.  Experimental Methodology is organized so that each chapter focuses on a specific step in the research process. This text provides instruction in experimental research as well as non-experimental approaches such as ex-post facto research, correlational research, and survey research.  Also included are qualitative research approaches such as ethnography and phenomenology.Incorporates both quantitative and qualitative research to give students a balanced perspective. Chapter-opening vignettes focus on current events to demonstrate the real-life relevance of psychological research. Study questions within each chapter help students test their comprehension as they read. A "Visual Overview" at the beginning of each chapter provides an engaging preview. Survey research is provided to bring more of a "real life" aspect to the text.
